Hello Wonderful Zeno Partners!

During this month of LOVE we want to celebrate all the ways in which math has shown US love. From cooking delicious recipes with our loved ones to enjoying the fruit of our labor through gardening, Math is truly all around us even when all we do is love and be with one another. Please enjoy a few of the ways in which the Zeno Staff shows LOVE through math in our personal lives.

Zeno Staff Anthony and his daughter show LOVE through math and hot wheels. They choose different destinations on her mat and the routes needed to get there. They practice Spatial Awareness and Simple Map Orientation skills through their love and math.

Zeno Staff Felicia and her kids show their LOVE through math when they put away their holiday decorations. They Sort the items by color and count how many items they have in each color group.

Zeno Staff Jermell shows LOVE through math at his family cookouts when he is preparing the dish he will share with everyone. He practices Measurement and Estimation when he calculates how many people will be there and how many servings they will need.

Zeno Staff Luz shows LOVE through math when she reads Little Libros "De Colores" to her nieces. They pull out the math during story time by Counting the objects in each page, noticing the Patterns, and talking about the Size of the images.

Zeno Staff Gladys and her fiance show LOVE through math when they do DIY projects around the home. During their latest project they practiced Spatial Awareness and Comparisons when they hung a series of shelves creating a shoe rack and then organized the shoes from shortest to tallest.

Zeno Staff Branwyn and her nephew show LOVE through math by intermittent racing. When on a walk they will Measure Distance by racing between two objects such as two trees or a stroller and a stop sign and see who is faster. They also show LOVE through math by making "Magic Brew" which they do by collecting objects on their walk and counting out the objects practicing their 1:1 correspondence.

What are some of the ways you show LOVE through math in your lives?

P.S. Zeno is testing new translations for this year's suite of Zeno game instructions! You can download and print the Korean translations here.
