# No Materials Needed

Giving the kids in your life opportunities to experience math in a collaborative, non-graded environment is one of the best ways to build their math confidence. With these games, all you need is a little Math Power!

## Skip, Skip, GO!

This is a variation on the much loved Duck, Duck, Goose but with a skip counting twist. A perfect activity ANYTIME you need to get the wiggles out!

**Goal:** Played in the same manner as Duck, Duck, Goose - if you're "it" don't lose your seat

**Skill:** Skip Counting, Multiplication

**Number of Players:** 6 or more

## Pico Fermi Nada

This logic game leads players to use educated guesses to deduce a secretly chosen number. Much like Sherlock Holmes, your kids will be deducing digits in no time!

**Goal:** Players take turns deducing a secret 3 digit number

**Skill:** Mathematical Reasoning, Place Value

**Number of Players:** 2 or more

## What's My Rule?

Make up your own rule, and with just a paper and pencil, you’ll have all players guessing what’s on your mind. It's a race to figure out What's My Rule?

**Goal:** Players take turns guessing a rule for a set of numbers

**Skill:** Mathematical Reasoning

**Number of Players:** 2 or more

## Buzz

Take turns counting numbers but careful – some numbers will get you buzzed out! Play it with friends and family and you’ll soon be buzzing with math energy!

**Goal:** Players count skipping numbers that meet a certain rule

**Skill:** Multiplication, Number Sense

**Number of Players:** 2 or more, ideal for big groups

## Mental Math

Here's a quick series of games sure to sharpen mental math skills!

**Goal:** Practice mental math acrobatics

**Skill:** Computational Fluency

**Number of Players:** 2 or more

## Twelve and You're Out

You can say one number or two or three, but watch out, you don't want to be the one saying 12 because Twelve and You're Out!

**Goal:** The last player "in" wins

**Skill:** Counting, Logical Reasoning

**Number of Players:** 2-4

## Aim for Zero

Start from a large number and subtract your way down. You can aim for zero but it's going to take other players' help to get there!

**Goal:** Be the first player to reach zero

**Skill:** Subtraction, Number Sense

## Number Tic Tac Toe

You've probably played Tic Tac Toe, but have you tried this Math Powered version?

**Goal:** Complete any row, column, or diagonal so that two of the three numbers add up to the third
