This spring, Zeno welcomed two new board members: Nikki Freeman and Kevin Hu! Nikki and Kevin bring a passion for educational equity and interest in making math fun. Read on to learn more about our newest board members, and check out their full bios at the links below.
Nikki has worked for financial companies in San Francisco and Seattle, and is currently a fixed income investor at Pugh Capital. In addition to her work in the finance sector, she co-founded the Leadership Council of SEO Scholars San Francisco, a program which gets high school students from communities of color into and through college. Nikki is excited to join Zeno’s board to continue working in the educational equity space, and loves that staff and board members are “truly dedicated to the mission and energized to spread math literacy to those that need it most.” Read more in Nikki’s full bio.
Kevin has worked for big players in the tech field, including Microsoft and Amazon, and currently provides finance support for the Global Health team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He feels a strong personal connection to Zeno’s mission and values. When Kevin first came to the United States and was learning English, he “was one of those children who, through math, found the confidence to succeed in school while learning how fit into a new environment.” Read more in Kevin’s full bio.
Please join us in welcoming Nikki and Kevin to the Zeno team!
