I get choked up when watching and reading the news coverage of this week’s monster tornado in Oklahoma. Once again, teachers put their life on the line to protect kids.

Teachers used their bodies to shield children from flying debris, screamed words of comfort over the noise of a building being shredded around them, and soothed the traumatized when all was over.  And yet, and yet… in all, the storm claimed the lives of ten children, seven of which were in the hallway of Plaza Towers Elementary when the EF5 tornado hit.

Go out there and hug a teacher today.
