DESCRIPTION:This offering includes 10 hours of direct\, synchronous\, virtual instruction to support early childhood professionals in developing their own math practice and in engaging diverse families through the lens of racial equity\, family engagement\, and play. \nSessions will bring together racial equity\, Zeno’s five practices\, and early math skills development. Each workshop employs the use of the 5C’s of learning – connectedness\, conversation\, curiosity\, consideration\, and community and culture – to create a successful learning environment. \nProviders will connect math to racial equity\, social emotional learning\, literature\, as well as reflect on learnings and receive support to develop an action plan to apply concepts into their own practice.
