Luz Guillén

Office Manager

Luz became a member of the Zeno team in Summer of 2019. She is “eager to engage in change work that has tangible impact on communities,” and brings experience working alongside local Seattle nonprofits who are community centered, rather than “one size fits all.”

What she likes most about Zeno is how the organization weaves together community teachings and programming. “Change work for me is being humble.” Luz brings her love of systems, fostering relationships, and curiosity to this role and envisions herself creating an impact on communities that she holds close. She’s most grateful for her family’s support, and applauds her parents’ perseverance and ability in cultivating a “home away from home” for her and her siblings.

When Luz is not inspiring kids to love math, you can find her out in nature, spending time with pets and loved ones, cooking, and tending to her plant collection (over 25 plants – mostly succulents).
