Heidi joined the board in August 2019, and brings a unique perspective to Zeno as a past educator, parent, volunteer, and funder. In addition to being the co-founder and an involved trustee of Stolte Family Foundation, she is a partner with Social Venture Partners and Washington Progress Alliance and is involved with the Road Map Project.
Heidi feels a strong passion for education and families, as both a parent and a previous 3rd and 4th grade teacher. She connects with Zeno’s commitment to learning, families, and racial equity and is excited to help Zeno change the early math scene for people of color living in low income communities across WA. Heidi believes in Zeno’s mission because every child deserves a great start in school with love and confidence in math.
When not hard at work volunteering or at the foundation office, Heidi can be found playing with her kids and new puppy (her first dog!), taking dance classes, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest in good company.
