Nikki Freeman

Board Member

Nikki joined the board in March 2018, bringing her experience in the financial sector and passion for supporting youth in their educational journeys. She has worked for financial companies in San Francisco and Seattle, and is currently a fixed income investor at Pugh Capital.

Nikki first discovered her confidence in math in middle school with the help of three great teachers there. Although she learned to love all numbers, 24 still tops the list in honor of West Coast baseball’s original #24, Willie Mays. In addition to her work in the math-fueled world of finance, Nikki co-founded the Leadership Council of SEO Scholars San Francisco, a program that gets high school students from communities of color into and through college. She was excited to join Zeno’s board to continue working in the educational equity space, and loves that staff and board members are “truly dedicated to the mission and energized to spread math literacy to those who need it most.”

When she’s not inspiring kids to love math, you can find Nikki skiing down one of Washington’s many scenic slopes!
